Tuition is most effective when it is consistent throughout the year, with regular short breaks to allow for holidays and other activities.  Therefore, I have developed a working pattern that supports children to make and retain progress – please see my term dates below – note that these do NOT necessarily coincide with school term dates.  As far as possible, it is important for children to attend 100% of the lessons available. However, I allow a maximum of two lessons per term to be cancelled without charge and will carry forward any money paid providing a minimum of one week’s notice is given.  Any further cancellations within each term are payable in full (this includes cancellation for any reason including illness, holidays, computer problems and traffic jams). During the school summer holidays, 17^th July – 5^th September, pupils are expected to attend a minimum of 3 lessons in order to maintain progress and retain their place.  I may have limited availability to offer extra lessons during school holidays for children working towards exams and/or those needing extra help and support. I do not offer tuition between 6^th – 24^th September in order to give children time to settle into their new classes and routines at the start of the academic year.
