Fees for each block of five lessons:
Year 5 Starseekers Group 5 x 60 minute lessons online – £215
Year 6 Starseekers Group 5 x 90 minute lessons in person – £320
Year 7 Starseekers Group 5 x 60 minute lessons online via Zoom – £225
Year 8 Starseekers Group 5 x 90 minute lessons in person – £335
Fees are payable in advance via BACs and include my planning and preparation time along with all the resources and subscriptions I use during the lessons. Students are also given approximately 30 minutes of homework each week.
The homework includes an individual student subscription to ‘CGP 11+ Online’ (worth £72 per year – with unlimited practice tests for English, Maths and Verbal Reasoning); suggested reading; vocabulary extension; and ideas for multimedia study of general knowledge and current affairs. Marking is either automated online to give immediate feedback or done with the students during the lessons to provide effective verbal feedback and further discussion.
Written Reports may be provided upon request for an additional fee of £20 per 200 words or part thereof.
Additional Meetings and/or telephone calls lasting longer than 5 minutes with parents and/or (at parents’ request) other professional services (e.g. school teachers, educational psychologists or speech and language therapists) are charged at £25 per 30 minutes or part thereof.
